History of networkusa.org
From about 1997 to 2004, networkusa.org hosted Network USA, a collection of liberty and privacy advocacy sites. They included the "Fight the Fingerprint" pages on fingerprinting, Social Security numbers, driver licence and national ID rules, and pages on federal immigration and banking rules.
The domain later had unrelated owners: it was parked for several years and then hosted an unrelated blog from 2010 to 2012.
The current site is a new, independent, neutral statutory reference. It is not affiliated with the earlier Network USA project and does not continue its advocacy.
Readers who want the original pages can view the Internet Archive copy of the Fight the Fingerprint hub.
